After the weld size meets the requirements, the laser heat source is removed and the welding is achieved under pressure.


Plastic laser welding requires that one side of the welding material has laser transmission, while the other is absorbent, which is called through plastic laser welding. For materials with insufficient absorption, the method of adding absorbent (carbon black) is usually adopted. Only carbon black can absorb visible light, easy to cause the weld color to become darker, different from the color of the parent material. The British Welding Institute has developed a dye that is transparent to The visible light and can solve this problem.
