Laser cutting galvanized steel sheet technology.

From the perspective of auxiliary gas, there are three cutting processes for galvanized steel plate, namely air cutting, oxygen cutting and nitrogen cutting. Let's first analyze the pros and cons of each of the three cutting processes:

Air cutting: the advantage is that the processing cost is extremely low, only need to consider the laser itself and the air compressor of electricity can, without having to produce high auxiliary gas cost, and on the sheet cutting efficiency can match nitrogen gas cutting, is a kind of economical and efficient method of cutting. But the shortcomings on the cutting surface are equally obvious. First of all, the section of air cut will produce the burr of the bottom surface, and the product after laser processing has to go through the secondary processing of burrs, which is not conducive to the whole production cycle. Secondly, the section of air cutting is easy to black, which affects the quality of the product. Therefore, the advantages of laser processing without subsequent processing can not be reflected, so in the processing of galvanized steel plate, many enterprises are reluctant to choose air cutting mode.

Oxygen cutting: this is the most traditional and standard cutting method. The advantage is that the gas cost is low, and in the sheet metal processing with carbon steel, it is convenient for factory management without frequent switch of auxiliary gas. But the disadvantage is that after oxygen cutting, stay on the surface of the cut surface will have a layer of scale, if this kind of product with scale is directly welded, time grows, oxide skin fall off naturally. This is one of the reasons that galvanized sheet welding is easy to weld.

Nitrogen cutting: nitrogen is used for high speed processing, because nitrogen is different from the oxygen used for combustion, but is protective, so the cutting section will not produce the oxide skin. A lot of enterprise also is to see this one advantage, so the cutting of galvanized steel plate often USES nitrogen to process. But the disadvantages of nitrogen cutting are here: because the cut section is completely unprotected, the product is easy to rust.
